"Navigating Within the Self" Seminar 19-20, March 2011
We decided to move our seminar to 19-20 March, the Spring Equinox time instead of this autumn in hopes that we will reach enough people who are interested in sharing this weekend's learning with us.
To be in Life and learn about the Self is a Journey that can change our own perspective and how we look at everything around us. As adults we now have learned and adopted habits and beliefs that we put on automatically like a set of old familiar clothing. However, those very same beliefs can substitute for truly being present to new opportunities or shield us from truly looking at ourselves and our dreams for our Life journey. To unstructure those habits and beliefs and restructure is a skill that can change our lives, strengthen us internally and benefit the health of our energy level.

The woman who wore it no doubt thought that it made her pretty. No one forced her to wear that thing. Or at least, no person did so. It was her own law of ignorance that forced her to wear it.

Meeting our Earth Teachings by Hyemeyohsts and Swan Storm
We welcome you to listen to "Meeting Our Earth" by Hyemeyohsts and Swan Storm. These sound tracks were originally available as a set of teaching tapes recorded during the 1990's, and were recently digitalized and republished. We have included a few minutes of each teaching section for you to listen to before deciding if you wish to continue with the download order. (There are four teaching section totals. The entire set is also available for download.)
Hyemeyohsts Storm is the author of Seven Arrows, Lightningbolt and Song of Heyoehkah. He is a mixed-blood Native American and German teacher that grew up on a reservation in Montana. Hyemeyohsts was born on a reservation in the 1930's at a time of immense American bigotry against all people of color and Native prejudice against White America. Born into a Native culture confronted with the threat of losing the rich cultural heritage that had been safeguarded by the remaining Medicine Teachers after the Indian Wars of the late 1800's. You will hear teachings of the Sacred Medicine Wheels and stories of how Hyemeyohsts learned about Self Discipline from his teachers.
Personally, I enjoy listening to the tapes best in sequence which was how they were originally recorded.
